A Moroccan Childhood
Born in Marrakech, Rida Lamrini spent his early years there before his studies and professional journey led him to new horizons.
Engineer, Jurist & Manager
State engineer in computer science, graduate of the ISCAE Advanced Management Program, and holder of a degree in public law. A threefold education combining technical rigor, strategic vision, and legal culture.
Economic Advisor in Ottawa
Seconded to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canada, he gained valuable international experience in economic and development affairs.
The Growth of Microcredit
From the early 1990s, he spearheaded microcredit development in Morocco, particularly as founding member and president of INMAA, then as president of the National Federation of Microcredit Associations (FNAM).
UN Award & INDH Agreement
Morocco was awarded by the UN for its microcredit model. That same year, Rida Lamrini signed before H.M. King Mohammed VI the framework agreement linking FNAM with the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
World Bank & Mediterranean
As a World Bank expert, he managed employment promotion programs. Serving as a green growth expert for the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP), he also tackled ecological transitions and jobs of the future.
Advisory Council on Human Rights
Appointed member of the CCDH, he brought his field experience to the advancement of social justice and the consolidation of the rule of law.
A New Literary Phase
Alongside his professional career, he published essays, chronicles, and novels. Starting in 2022, his literary work entered a new chapter with the novelistic fresco composed of Tant que je peux te dire je t’aime, Aux portes des étoiles, and Les Méandres de l’Oubli.
