A Developing Novelistic Body of Work

This body of work does not seek to simply add another title to library shelves. It is part of a deep exploration of the human condition, giving a central place to characters, their wounds, their aspirations, and the choices that shape their destiny.

The novels focus less on the events themselves than on their repercussions on people: the resignations, the hazards that become decisive turning points, the silences, the secrets, and the paths taken to rebuild oneself.

The ambition is to offer stories that continue to accompany the reader long after the last page, leaving a lasting emotion, question, or reflection. It is in this light that a novelistic fresco was conceived, where each volume can be discovered independently, while participating in a shared universe exploring memory, love, transmission, identity, and the shadow within each of us.

The Meanders of Oblivion marks the culmination of this first cycle without constituting a final point. On the contrary, it opens the way to new novelistic territories, to other characters, and to other forms of suspense.

This vision stems from a simple conviction: a book does not end with the manuscript. Its real encounter with readers begins upon publication.

Rida Lamrini's novels are distinguished by their plots and settings, but unite around a shared questioning of the human. They portray women and men whose lives turn upon a meeting, a disappearance, a secret, a betrayal, an exile, a war, or sometimes a simple twist of fate.
